Weight Loss - No More Excuses!

Weight loss can be tough. I mean, it is not easy to give up those things you love to eat, but are making you gain weight. So what does the average person like you and me have a tendency to do? Make excuses as to why we are not losing weight while we are gobbling down all that good stuff.

Yes, it is all too easy to make excuses, but excuses are, well, no excuse. You can have your favorite foods and still lose weight. It's more of a matter of how much you eat, than what you eat anyway.

So let's take a look at a couple of real tough temptations we have to deal with to lose weight and eliminate those fat-gaining excuses.

#1 Chocolate

The good news is that chocolate really isn't that bad for you. Chocolate has plenty of good antioxidants and nutrients. And the fat in it gives you energy. So go ahead...indulge in a little chocolate now and then and enjoy yourself. Just don't overdo it.

#2 Fast Food (Bad Stuff)

Yes, fast food is bad stuff and can kill your weight loss efforts. The hard part about fast food is that it is a part of our lives and most working people have to eat it because of time restraints. It's quick, it's easy, and it satisfies your hunger. But that's no excuse for eating so much that you gain weight.

The big problem with fast foods is that it is loaded with fat and low on nutrition. Eating fast foods on a regular basis is a sure formula for weight gain. So if you want to lose weight, try to cut down on those fast foods by bringing healthy snacks or a lunch with you when you go to work or travel. Fast food won't kill your weight loss efforts if you eat it occasionally when in a pinch, just don't depend on it.

Remember, you can eat anything you like and still lose weight. It's all a matter of common sense and portion control. So no excuses...get that fat off and be happy!
